About Enzed Albury

Enzed Albury has been in business for 30 years and aren’t slowing down anytime soon. In this time as a franchise for Parker Hannifin (Australia) Pty Ltd, have provided 24/7 hydraulic hose replacement, supplied a full range hydraulic and pneumatic components and also offer repairs and component testing using their state of the art machinery at the Enzed Albury warehouse.

Business Challenges & Needs

To match Enzed Albury’s modern hardware, they needed a modern software solution. Their business was reliant on an antiquated DOS system for their stock, debtors and creditors, and was becoming a serious business risk as it was almost impossible to find an IT team that could keep the system running. The accounting team also had to manually input transactions manually into Reckon Accounts, which would lead to inaccuracies in accounts and unreliable reporting. The change of system needed to happen as soon as it was identified as a risk as Enzed Albury have 17,000 parts, 400 suppliers and 3000 customers on file, and the risk to this data was great.

The Solution

Henk decided that Fishbowl Manufacturing would meet the needs of his business, as it continues to provide stock control and also integrated with Reckon Accounts. Enzed Albury are also members of Fishbowl’s Ocean Support and Software Maintenance programs, providing unlimited user support and updates to the software.

The Results

Henk has found that Fishbowl was a cost effective solution to his dated system woes. Since implementing Fishbowl the team at Enzed have seen improvements to their everyday sales processes including the ability to complete real time sales, and Fishbowl automatically emailing customers their invoices, making for a more streamlined and professional workflow. It is not just the sales side that has seen improvements but also purchasing. Enzed now use electronic purchase orders which makes the whole process more efficient. Receiving and reconciling goods has now been simplified and with real time information, Henk can determine his purchasing cash flow requirements at the click of a button. Any changes in stock are easily applied to current stock levels and allows for a rolling stock take, year round.
